Where can we start our Grand Union Canal Boat Hire?
We have 2 hire bases from which you could enjoy a cruise along the beautiful Grand Union canal. Our Leighton Buzzard base is ideally located for exploring the Southern half of the Grand Union Canal either heading south towards Cassiobury Park and then onto London or North to Braunston. Speaking of Braunston this is the other potential starting point, from here you can also explore the Grand Union canal heading into Birmingham tackling the famous Hatton Locks along the way. Both these hire bases start on the Grand Union Canal itself.

You can reach Stoke Bruerne either from the North from the Braunston base or from the South from the Leighton buzzard base. You could also head towards Warwick on a 4 night hire or Welford along the Leicester Line from Braunston, or south from Leighton Buzzard towards Cow Roast on a 3 night weekend hire.
