A 45ft narrowboat, Foxcub is a good choice for couples, a small family or a small group of friends. The cruiser rear deck is simply perfect for socialising while cruising along the tranquil waters and having an idyllic meal in the fresh air. Inside, the layout consists of 1 bedroom with a full double, bathroom, kitchen and a living area. The dinette can be converted into another double, which makes 4 berths in total.
Foxcub is ideal for a city trip to Bath or Bristol or why not simply meander along the tranquil waterways of the Bath Valley? Enjoy the peaceful canal surroundings and visit the picturesque market town of Bradford-on-Avon and cruise over the breathtaking Avoncliff Aqueduct.

Foxhangers is a family owned and run business that has been offering self-drive narrowboat holidays on the Kennet & Avon Canal since 1997.
Foxhangers narrowboats are built in their own facilities by their own dedicated professional boat builders: they are specifically designed to be the best possible holiday hire boats.

Public Transport
The nearest mainline train station is in Chippenham, which is about 9miles from Lower Foxhangers. Chippenham is on the London Paddington to Bristol Line. We are about a 25-minute taxi ride from Chippenham Station. Other nearby stations are, Westbury, Trowbridge, and Pewsey.
National Express Bus is the cheapest way to get to Devizes from London. Once a day there is a 2hr direct coach ride from London Victoria & Heathrow which arrives in Devizes at 9.20pm and returns once a day from Devizes every day at 8.15pm.
