A modern and luxurious narrowboat, Einstein’s Fox is the perfect choice for a family, 2 couples or a group of friends.
The semi-traditional rear deck offers seating for 2-3 people while cruising along the placid waters of the Kennet and Avon. This deck style is also very popular with pet owners, as the lockable doors turn the seating area into an ideal dog pen.
The internal layout consists of 2 separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and saloon. The master bedroom has a fixed double, which can be extended into a king sized bed. The secondary bedroom offers a very flexible layout. It can either be a double with an overhead single, 3 singles or 1 double. The dinette in the saloon can also be turned into an additional double, which makes enough sleeping space for up to 7 people. As part of the luxury fleet, Einstein’s Fox offers televisions in each cabin, the master's bedroom, secondary bedroom and saloon as well as an additional drinks fridge.
Einstein’s Fox is a splendid boat for friends or family who are interested in experiencing the Caen Hill Locks firsthand, exploring the city of Bath by boat or who want to venture even further afield towards Hungerford and Newbury.
Einstein’s Fox is identical to Darwin’s Fox - if Einstein’s Fox isn’t available for your preferred date, Darwin’s Fox might be the perfect alternative.

Public Transport
The nearest mainline train station is in Chippenham, which is about 9miles from Lower Foxhangers. Chippenham is on the London Paddington to Bristol Line. We are about a 25-minute taxi ride from Chippenham Station. Other nearby stations are, Westbury, Trowbridge, and Pewsey.
National Express Bus is the cheapest way to get to Devizes from London. Once a day there is a 2hr direct coach ride from London Victoria & Heathrow which arrives in Devizes at 9.20pm and returns once a day from Devizes every day at 8.15pm.
