A 69ft narrowboat, Foxhound is a modern and spacious boat for 2-3 couples or a big group of family or friends. The cleverly designed rear deck is spacious and has seating for up to 4 people. The front deck has even more space for up to 6 people. Both spaces are great for socializing while cruising through the peaceful Wiltshire countryside and having a nice meal outside once moored up.
The inside layout consists of 3 separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and a saloon. The bedrooms have permanent beds, 1 is a fixed double, and the other two can either be made up into a double or 2 singles each. The generous l-shaped settee can be turned into an additional double bed, the small dinette into a single. In total, there is enough sleeping space for up to 9 people.
Foxhound is a fantastic boat to explore the Bath Valley on a short trip, which could include a crossing of Dundas and Avoncliff Aqueducts. An exciting trip to the bustling cities of Bath or Bristol would be another option or why not tackle the famous Caen Hill Flight?

Public Transport
The nearest mainline train station is in Chippenham, which is about 9miles from Lower Foxhangers. Chippenham is on the London Paddington to Bristol Line. We are about a 25-minute taxi ride from Chippenham Station. Other nearby stations are, Westbury, Trowbridge, and Pewsey.
National Express Bus is the cheapest way to get to Devizes from London. Once a day there is a 2hr direct coach ride from London Victoria & Heathrow which arrives in Devizes at 9.20pm and returns once a day from Devizes every day at 8.15pm.
