A 47.5 ft narrowboat, Foxtail is a very good boat for couples or small groups of families and friends. The cruiser rear deck is a fantastic space for socializing while cruising along the peaceful canals and rivers and for relaxing meals in the fresh air.
Inside, the layout consists of a bedroom with a fixed double, bathroom, kitchen and a saloon with a dinette. The latter can be converted into another double and 1 single, making enough space to sleep 5 people.
Narrowboat Foxtail is the ideal boat to explore the beautiful Bath Valley, picturesque Bradford-on-Avon or the bustling cities of Bath and Bristol.

Foxhangers narrowboats are built in their own facilities by their own dedicated professional boat builders: they are specifically designed to be the best possible holiday hire boats.

Public Transport
The nearest mainline train station is in Chippenham, which is about 9miles from Lower Foxhangers. Chippenham is on the London Paddington to Bristol Line. We are about a 25-minute taxi ride from Chippenham Station. Other nearby stations are, Westbury, Trowbridge, and Pewsey.
National Express Bus is the cheapest way to get to Devizes from London. Once a day there is a 2hr direct coach ride from London Victoria & Heathrow which arrives in Devizes at 9.20pm and returns once a day from Devizes every day at 8.15pm.
