A 62ft narrowboat, Foxtalbot is a great boat for families, 2 couples or a group of friends. The cruiser rear deck is a fantastic place for socialising or having a relaxing meal out in the fresh air once moored up.
Inside, the layout consists of 2 separate bedrooms with a permanent double each and ensuite bathrooms. Further along, there is a kitchen and the saloon. The spacious L-shaped settee can be converted into another double, and the small dinette into an additional single bed. In total, there is sleeping space for up to 7 people.
Foxtalbot is a fantastic choice for cruising through the pretty Bath Valley, crossing the impressive Avoncliff and Dundas Aqueducts, or even experiencing the famous Caen Hill Flight firsthand.
Foxtalbot is similar to Foxglacier, which provides a good alternative if Foxtalbot isn’t available for your preferred dates.

Foxhangers narrowboats are built in their own facilities by their own dedicated professional boat builders: they are specifically designed to be the best possible holiday hire boats.

Public Transport
The nearest mainline train station is in Chippenham, which is about 9miles from Lower Foxhangers. Chippenham is on the London Paddington to Bristol Line. We are about a 25-minute taxi ride from Chippenham Station. Other nearby stations are, Westbury, Trowbridge, and Pewsey.
National Express Bus is the cheapest way to get to Devizes from London. Once a day there is a 2hr direct coach ride from London Victoria & Heathrow which arrives in Devizes at 9.20pm and returns once a day from Devizes every day at 8.15pm.
