A 62 ft narrowboat, Foxglacier is a spacious option for families or a group of friends. The cruiser rear deck is perfect for having a relaxing meal al fresco once moored up and socialising while cruising along the tranquil waters of the Kennet and Avon.
The internal layout consists of 2 separate bedrooms with a fixed double and ensuite bathroom each, kitchen and a saloon. The latter contains a spacious L-shaped dinette, which can be turned into another double, and a small dinette, which is easily converted into a single bed. In total, there is enough sleeping space for a total of 7 people.
Foxglacier is a great choice to experience the famous Caen Hill lock flight first hand or take an exciting trip to Bath or Bristol and cross the impressive Avoncliff Aqueduct.
Foxglacier is similar to Foxtalbot, which gives you a great alternative if Foxglacier isn’t available on your preferred dates.

Foxhangers narrowboats are built in their own facilities by their own dedicated professional boat builders: they are specifically designed to be the best possible holiday hire boats.

Public Transport
The nearest mainline train station is in Chippenham, which is about 9miles from Lower Foxhangers. Chippenham is on the London Paddington to Bristol Line. We are about a 25-minute taxi ride from Chippenham Station. Other nearby stations are, Westbury, Trowbridge, and Pewsey.
National Express Bus is the cheapest way to get to Devizes from London. Once a day there is a 2hr direct coach ride from London Victoria & Heathrow which arrives in Devizes at 9.20pm and returns once a day from Devizes every day at 8.15pm.
